The W 23 was the second most popular boat built by Watkins Yachts, second only to the W 27. The W 23 was the first boat design built by the Watkins Yacht and Marine Company.She is sloop rigged with a deck stepped mast supported by a post inside the cabin. It has a stub keel with a centerboard and an outboard kick-up rudder. The interior offers a V berth forward, dinette to starboard and a galley to port. A quarter berth is also located to port aft of the galley and the dinette folds down for added sleeping capability.
